Ceci and I had this morning. That's a pretty accurate representation of how I looked at work today - hunched over, exhausted, barely staying upright.
The text underneath it is from a discussion
Sean and I were having about whether any worthy albums have been released this year thus far. I'm notoriously picky about Best Of lists - it's not unusual for my Best of the Year lists to only have one or two titles on it. I won't rehash the whole discussion - the basic gist was that I don't feel there's been an album released this year which will still be listened to this time next year, let alone ten, twenty, thirty years from now. It seems like everything is disposable these days. In a fit of crabbiness I declared "Nothing is essential anymore!" and liked the sound of it so much I added it here. There's a simple truth in that.
